COSF

COSF itself is not a project, it is a repository for CGI scripts, and as a member you have access to every project in our repository, so in other words: developers only have to wait for authorization once to have access to all our projects, and they are able to add what they can at will.  All projects will have its own listing in SourceForge, but will use the COSF CVS, so forums, mailing lists, website, etc. will remain separate.  To access COSF's CVS you will need to be able to use CVS, you can find a tutorial here.  More information can be found at: About Us, Getting Involved and Why Join, new members and projects are always welcome.  Note that CGI is not synonymous with Perl; see this article for more information.

Who are we? / What does COSF stand for?
What are we / What is OSF?

Why are we / Why Join...?
Where are we heading?

ATTENTION: COSF needs:

  • A developer - developing for fun, experience and the many rewards of Open Source.

If you are an open source developer developing for fun or an aspiring  programmer that wants to add some truth to your resume you should take 3 minutes and read About Us.

  • Projects - COSF would just be a name if we had nothing to do.

If you have a CGI script that you are working on, and need some help or want to open it up to a wide range developers to hack away at it you should take 3 minutes and read "Adding your Projects".

  • Community  - COSF wouldn't last long if there is not community behind it.

If you are able to maintain a lively community just by your presence: don't hesitate to join! :)
